Dr. Htoo Lwin Paing Aung

Mental Health Practitioner
Medical Doctor

I am a mental health practitioner dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep difficulties, emotional distress, or other personal challenges. My approach is calm, respectful, and grounded in creating a safe, confidential space where clients can speak openly and feel genuinely heard. I provide individual counselling under the supervision of psychologists, therapists and psychiatrists, ensuring that every session adheres to ethical and evidence-based standards of care. My clinical work incorporates methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Integrative Adapt Therapy (IAT), trauma-informed counselling, and EMDR-based techniques. I also serve as a Mental Health Clinician at Primary Mental Health Clinic, providing comprehensive mental health assessments, consultation, medical treatment, psychoeducation, and guidance for a wide range of common mental health concerns. Over the years, I have completed more than 400+ hours of clinical practice and structured professional supervision, working with clients from diverse backgrounds—including individuals navigating trauma, life transitions, relationship difficulties, grief, emotional overwhelm, and mental disorders. My goal is to help clients feel supported, understood, and empowered, walking alongside them toward emotional healing, resilience, and overall well-being. "Trainings and Certifications" 1.
